Dr. Peter Hersh and the CLEI staff recently hosted five students from Princeton University as part of their “Princeternship” Program.
Taken directly from Princeton’s website, the definition of a Princeternship is, “A career exploration program sponsored by Career Services and a unique opportunity for students to investigate a career field and make professional connections by spending 1-3 days with alumni at their workplace during academic breaks.”
These students all spent 1 day at our office shadowing Dr. Hersh. They were able to learn about the different procedures we perform at CLEI and observe Dr. Hersh in a surgical setting. It is welcoming to hear from the students positive experiences afterwards and know that this one day could help them to decide their future career. We look forward to hosting more students in the future.
Dr. Hersh received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and is quite proud of his alma mater. He is current a visiting researcher at Princeton and still very active in their community.
