This place has saved my eyesight and improved it! Ive had crosslinking PRK done and now i am able to wear glasses! My vision has improved significantly! The only reason i didnt give 5 stars is due to the wait time- its usually a couple hours. I have recommended this dr to many people! They are great people! Dr Gelled is so sweet and Dr. Greenstein knows his stuff! Stacey has helped me so much with explaining the cost and even with providing documentation for my job of my impairment! I wish they would take my insurance because it is expensive for visits. But worth it!

My dad was very fond of Dr. Hershs father. Hes an ophthalmologist in the area, and really appreciated the late Dr. Hersh. Of course, when it was time for me to get LASIK, he recommended Dr. Peter Hershs practice to me in a heartbeat.I got a great consultation with Dr. Greenstein and the follow-ups were flawless. By the end of my first day post-op, I was seeing 20/15. They do a really good job at keeping you calm and they take really good care of your eyes. The practice is warm and inviting, and the expertise of the doctors is top-notch.Thank you Dr. Hersh & Dr. Greenstein. I hope to be one of your colleagues one day as you both and my father really inspired me to go into ophthalmology.

It is amazing to find people who care so deeply and take such great pride in their craft. Keratoconus can be a very tricky and time consuming condition to fit but Dr Gelles and his staff have gone above and beyond. I had seen a handful of doctors before landing at the cornea laser eye institute. I can say that in my experience I feel as though I have found the best place. I travel a little over 2 hours and they are not covered by my insurance but the care is top notch and worth all of the effort! The offices are immaculate, up to date and all the of the staff are friendly and professional. I have had talks with DR Gelles where I can see his passion for the craft and it puts me at ease knowing I can trust the process because I trust the doctor whole heartedly!! Hes a fantastic doctor and I am very blessed to have found this place!
