Dr. Peter Hersh and the CLEI staff recently hosted two students from Princeton University as part of their “Princeternship” Program.
Taken directly from Princeton’s website, the definition ofa Princeternship is, “A career exploration program sponsored by Career Services and a unique opportunity for students to investigate a career field and make professional connections by spending 1-3 days with alumni at their workplace during academic breaks.”
At The Cornea and Laser Eye Institute, each Princetern spent 3 days at our office shadowing Dr. Hersh as well as observing surgical cases in the OR. Both the students and staff had a rewarding experience. We look forward to hosting more students in the future.
He is current a visiting researcher at Princeton and still very active in their community.
